One of my favorite white wines on our wine list is the Fefinanes Albarino 2011 from Spain. It is crisp, with bright pear and stone fruit flavors, and a clean citrus finish.  Refreshing and versatile, it is great as an aperitif, and would match perfectly with the Seafood Salad on our menu.  At $38 dollars on our list, it is one of my go-to recomendations.
We recently picked up terrific new Spanish wine that I'm really excited about.  It is Finca Sandovals' Signo Bobal 2009---and it is delicious.  I've never been impressed with wines made from the Bobal grape before, so I was surprised by how much I liked it.  It has aromas and flavors of black cherry, minerals and spice.  It is full bodied, with a rich, supple texture and good acidity---perfect for roasted of grilled lamb.
