New Brews at Tuskie's   Terrapin Tree Huggger -      Our newest year-round selection! With a mild herbal spice hop aroma and a malty flavor profile featuring notes of caramel, toffee, and nuts, this malt-forward beer is a welcome complement to our current hop-leaning roster. 5.1 ABV    Maine Brewing Company’s Peeper Pale Ale- An American-style ale brewed one barrel at a time. The malt bill is built on American two-row malt and accented by crystal 10, Vienna, and white wheat malts. Red wine with seafood

There are folks out there . . . who simply won't drink white wine, even when they're having seafood or pork dishes---and that's just fine.  We can always come up with a suggestion for them; lighter reds made from Pinot Noir, Gamay or even Tempranillo can be a good match.  One red that I frequently recommend with seafood is the Lioco Indica 2009.   It's made from old-vine Carignane, Grenache and Petite Syrah from Mendocino.  While this combination of grape varietals doesn't sound like a good match with seafood, this wine works surprisingly well. Pale red in color, it has aromas and flavors of strawberries, currants and herbs.  It has a silky smooth texture, with supple tannins and good acidity.  This wine would be great with grilled fish or ciopinno---or just sipped on it's own. Red wine and fish, can be delish!
Botani Muscat 2011  This is a perfect wine for spring---even though I drank it all through the winter.  Made from old vine Muscat from Malaga, Spain, this is very aromatic, with notes of melons, pears and citrus.  It has fresh flavors of melon and pear with a crisp, clean finish.  This would be excellent with almost any seafood dish, and a good match for many Asian-influenced dishes.
